14th September 2016 birth PSALMS, a charity outreach with the vision of creating a better life for children, youths and the elderly, worldwide. Psalms came as a call to encourage, build and support people who have lost something in life as this was the story of Dr. Uduak Charles, the chairman of the foundation.
The outreach took place at Ibiaku Uruan. 240 children were feed, 96 boys in the community had free haircut and the girls, free hairdo in preparation for the academic year. More than 180 school children received exercise books and pens to support their academic pursuit. Health sensitization and sanitary pads were given to the young girls in the community. The elderly were not left out as they received medical attention, free medications and medical examination and HIV test to more than 100 elderly persons in the community. Bags of food items were distributed to each family and the session was rounded with cultural praise and prayers.
