Our Fight Against Covid19 With Union Bank

What would we do, without actually thinking of pay, is to give our lives to the service of our local communities. It is to see people in the most rural of communities find hope and assurance that tomorrow is secured, That they are not forgotten. That is why we started a Foundation.

Today, Our team set out to Ekpene Ukim on a short sensitization with the support from Union Bank, in our fight against this pandemic covid19. We realised that these folks had zero knowledge on Corona and as such social distancing as well as Sanitizers were strange to them. We tried to speak to them from a distance and showed them how best to use the sanitizers. We didn’t have much, but we were able to attend to 50 market women and Men.

Our target was the market place where buying and selling takes place. May be if they observed a bit of hygiene there, we would be safe. We may not have done a lot, but we can’t sit back and just make posts.

We are dutifully committed to the rural communities and it is my hope that through our little efforts and sustained partnerships like such from UNION BANK and Nirvanix we will make a difference.
